We are proud to be recognized with prestigious awards for our environmental initiatives. Thank you for being part of this journey.
Rooted in the land of Krabi, every decision we make is guided by a deep
responsibility toward the natural world we call home.
Guided by arborists from the Royal Forest Department annually, we protect over 129 native trees across the resort grounds.
Over 46% of the resort's land is dedicated green space, actively reducing the urban heat island effect in Krabi.
Greywater from sinks and showers is hygienically treated and reused for toilet flushing, cutting potable water use by up to 50% per room.
Our VRV air conditioning system reduces electricity consumption by up to 40% per building versus conventional split-type systems.
A planned 76 kW solar installation in 2026 targets up to 50% overall electricity savings for the entire resort.
We transform waste into value: 216 kg biogas, 4,575 kg organic fertilizer, and 6,300 litres of EM solution produced in 2025.
These animals are not visitors — they are residents. We share this land with
them, and ask that guests do the same.
Expressive eyes that observe you as much as you observe them — wild primates moving freely through the canopy.
A flash of russet through the canopy — shy, fleeting, and a rare privilege to witness.
Tiny and radiant — each movement connects the ecosystem around you.
A mimic of the forest — what you hear may not be what it seems.
Ancient, watchful, and largely uninterested in us — a quiet presence at the water's edge.
Small and ever-present — slipping between light and shadow, quietly keeping balance in the ecosystem.
Our commitment extends beyond the resort grounds — into the lives of the
community that surrounds and sustains us.
We champion local hiring, with over 80% of our team members from Krabi — driving job creation and strengthening community resilience. Our sourcing philosophy puts local first: more than 70% of suppliers are local operators, and every piece of seafood on our menus comes directly from Krabi's Chao Lay coastal communities, sustaining livelihoods and preserving cultural heritage.
Each year, Pakasai delivers 12 collaborative community initiatives — from beach clean-ups and mangrove restoration to cultural engagement programmes at Baan Nateen and food donations to Krabi Elephant Hospital. These are not one-off gestures; they are part of who we are.
Guest rooms are stocked with locally sourced products: Lemon & Butterfly Pea tea from Krabi farms, bed runners and cushion covers handcrafted by the Khao Kram community, and natural-material beach bags. Every detail reflects a commitment to the people and places that make Krabi extraordinary.
Pakasai Resort is committed to protecting the dignity and rights of all persons. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward human trafficking in all its forms and actively train our team to identify and respond to warning signs.
